8. Denim & Lace Scuff Flag

If you have old jeans, this upcycling project is for you. The mix of rugged denim and delicate white lace creates a beautiful “Shabby Chic” American flag.

  • Materials: Scraps of denim, white lace trim, red fabric strips, hot glue.
  • Steps:
    • Use denim for the blue field.
    • Alternate red fabric and white lace strips for the stripes.
    • Glue them to a canvas or a piece of cardboard.
