5. Faux “Cactus” Garden

If you love plants but don’t have a green thumb, this is for you! By painting bricks different shades of green and adding white “spines,” you can create a zero-maintenance cactus garden.

  • Materials: Three shades of green paint, white paint pen.
  • Steps:
    • Paint several bricks various green hues.
    • Use the white pen to draw “X” or “V” shapes to look like cactus needles.
    • Stand them upright in a planter box filled with sand or pebbles.
