7. Vertical Herb Markers

If you have a raised garden bed, painted bricks make the perfect heavy-duty labels. They won’t blow away or get lost in the foliage like small plastic tags.

  • Materials: Chalkboard paint, chalk or chalk markers.
  • Steps:
    • Paint a rectangle of chalkboard paint on the side of the brick.
    • Write the herb name (Basil, Mint, Thyme).
    • Stand the brick vertically next to the plant.
